Villa Mermaid Split, Dalmatia

The modern Villa Mermaid offers a stunning view of the Adriatic Sea from its private swimming pool creating a luxurious experience for everybody. Paying special attention to the needs of the disabled, Villa Mermaid made sure that the entire villa and its facilities can be easily used by physically disabled people. Villa Mermaid is located in Podstrana, only 15 km away from the downtown of Split.

Villa Mermaid Interior

The 806 m2 Villa Mermaid with an indoor area of 384 m2 offers accommodation to 10 people in 4 beautifully decorated bedrooms. The villa consists of the ground floor, the first floor and the underground floor. Two of the bedrooms are located on the ground floor of the villa. The first bedroom is furnished with a double bed (200 x 210), an A/C system and a remote controller for external blinds and has access to its own bathrooms with a shower, bidet, washbasin, toilet and hair dryer. The second bedroom is designed with the disabled in mind so that it can be easily used by a person in a wheelchair and where a caretaker can also reside in. The bedroom is furnished with three single beds (120 x 210), an A/C system, 2 remote controllers for external blinds and has access to a private bathroom with a shower, a bathtub, a toilet, a washbasin and a hair dryer. The other two bedrooms are located on the first floor of Villa Mermaid, each furnished with a double bed (200 x 210), an A/C system and a remote controller for external blinds and having access to a private bathroom with a shower, a washbasin, a toilet, a bidet and a hair dryer. One of the bathrooms has a bathtub in addition to a shower. Furthermore, guests will find three guest toilets, one on the ground floor together with a washing machine and clothes dryer, the second on the first floor together with another washing machine, an iron, a baby cot and a high chair, and the third on the underground floor. Furthermore, Villa Mermaid consists of two fully equipped kitchens and two dining areas on each floor of the villa. Next to the kitchen on the ground floor is an entertainment area where guests will be able to play billiard, darts, PlayStation 3 or simply relax while watching cable TV. The sitting area of Villa Mermaid is located on the first floor is furnished with a comfortable couch and cable TV making it the perfect relaxation area for the whole family. Guests will be able to stay in shape during their stay at the villa since there is a gym with a boxing bag and gloves, as well as various equipment as well as a pilates room. Pets are allowed upon request.

The courtyard of Villa Mermaid features a gorgeous 35 m2 heated swimming pool with an entrance with rail to help physically disabled people and with a counter current system. The swimming pool is surrounded by sun beds where guests can soak up the sun while enjoying a beautiful view of the see. Guests who enjoy cooking grilled dishes can do so on the barbecue, while the delicious meals can be tasted in the outdoor dining area for an al-fresco experience. While waiting for the meals to be cooked, guests can challenge each other to a game of table tennis, while our youngest guests can enjoy their time on the playground. Guests arriving by car will have 4 private parking spots at their disposal.

Podstrana is one of the most attractive municipalities in Croatia that offers conditions for a peaceful, but action-packed vacation experience. The beaches of Podstrana were awarded with the white flag symbol which guarantees a clean natural environment and pristine cleanliness. Furthermore, Podstrana is an excellent starting point for the exploration of central Dalmatia. Therefore, discover the Croatian history and culture by visiting the nearby cities of Omiš (15 km), Baška Voda (40 km), Makarska (50 km) and Split (15 km) which is characterized by the Diocletian´s Palace and one of the best clubbing scenes in Croatia. If you are more interested in discovering the nature, make sure to visit the National Park Krka Waterfalls (90 km) where you will be able to swim while being surrounded by majestic cascading waterfalls.
